Penguin Suits

Yeah I got to wear one today.

Yeah I gave her some chocolate while wearing one.

Yeah I asked her to be my Valentines.

You bet I’m pretty happy.

Yeah I would’ve liked to keep that costume on a little bit longer.

Was I expecting anything out of this? Nah.

I don’t see why people lavish somebody they see special with a bunch of materialistic things when they’re not even with that person. Are they seeking to get something out of it? What happened to these gestures to be just out of making that person feel special rather than getting with them?

That’s the purpose of the things I do. As much as it would be nice to be in some sort of relationship, I’d prefer to get my message across.

No obligations from the other person, nothing. Just for them to realize that I see them as somebody special and that I had the guts to go above and beyond to let them know instead of keeping it to myself.

They’re all the welcome to respond in any manner they see fit.

People need to stop attaching these obligations to their actions.

You take a risk, you should be able to deal with the consequence appropriately, even if it isn’t in your expectations.

Other than that, I’m still pretty happy. :3
